LMT – Laser strip thickness gauge

The gauge is designed for accurate non-contact measurement of strip thickness with a high resistance to heavy working conditions. Types: LMT-500A, LMT-750A, LMT-1000A (according to the depth of measurement)

Features:

  • use of four-point laser distance sensors of a new generation without the effect of changing the reflectivity of the surface and minimize influence by strip tilting if strip is wavy
  • automatic calibration using built-in standard
  • air blow of laser sensors against pollution (during measurement)
  • optics automatic cover of the laser sensor when the measurement is switched off
  • automated strip guidance
  • touch screen for easy entry of nominal thickness and limits

The control unit enables:

  • digital thickness display on 7 "touch screen
  • deviation display from the set nominal thickness
  • graphical representation of the thickness course
  • entering and monitoring lower and upper limits
  • control of the gauge guidance onto the strip
  • analogue outputs for AGC ± 20 mA (± 10 V, 4 - 20 mA)
  • serial data output module PROFINET (PROFIBUS,...)
