Displacement transducer 4000 series

The Displacement Measurement Range of product consists of measurement transducer and their supporting electonics. UVB´s Dispalcement transducers provide high linearity, excellent long term stability and resolution of up to 1ppm of full range. The 4000 Serie Linear transducers are compact, robust sensors for use in applications ranging from metrology to heavy industry. Compared with other transducer systems, they are more stable, accurate and sensitive than LVDTs; longer lived, more robust and accurate than potentiometers; more compact and robust than optical laser systems. The production of these transducers 4000 Serie is a direct continuation of production of the UK company ASL (Automatic System Laboratories LTD.) in UVB TECHNIK.


  • Excellent Linearity of the transducers < 0.01 % of range, linearity curves are smooth and reach an optimum near to the center of travel
  • Very High Accuracy < ± 1 µm in full range. All transducers are idividually verified by reference to gauge blocks.

Signal Conditioners 4291, 4292

The Model 4291 & 4292 (upgraded 3291 & 3292) signal conditioners are use with UVB 4000 high accuracy transducers for Linear displacement measurement. These high performance units bring the advantages of these UVB transducers to a wider range of industrial and scientific users. When combined with UVB Transducers these units have great stability, sensitivity and resolution. These systems are robust, linear and high repeatable; have essentially infinite resolution; low temperature coefficient. The 4291 is the highest performance single channel device, 4292 is for dual channel operation. The voltage outputs for dual channel are A & B, (A+B)/2 or (A-B)/2 as option.
